Contact information

I am not currently working with new clients and am not able to respond to new client inquiries.

Phone: 919.726.6014
Email: email@rayedooley.com

Given my work schedule, it is often easiest to reach me via email. If you call and leave a voicemail, please indicate some days and times I might be able to reach you back. Unless I am out of town or otherwise unavailable, I will reply to your email within 5 business days and your voicemail within 10 business days.

If this is an emergency, call mobile crisis (1-800-510-9132) or 911 if you feel safe doing so, or go to your local emergency room (UNC CH recommended for psychiatric emergencies).

Your first appointment

I am not currently working with new clients.

In order to schedule your first therapy appointment, please reach out to me via the email address provided above. I will likely request we have a brief phone consultation to learn more about what you are looking for. If it seems like we’re a good fit, we will schedule an appointment at that time. In the event that another practitioner may best be able to help you, I will provide you with referrals. Once we schedule an appointment, I will send you electronic intake paperwork for you to complete before we meet. For information on the cost of therapy, please see the “Fees” section under the “Therapy” tab.

The space

My physical office is located in Durham, NC. However, I am currently conducting all appointments via telehealth.

Land acknowledgement

My office occupies unceded land of the Eno, Lumbee, Sappony, Shakori, and Tuscarora people, as well as land of other people whose names we may never know. I acknowledge their community, elders past and present, and future generations. I distribute a portion of my income generated on this land back to the people of the Saponi Nation, in keeping with my commitment to address the legacies of settler colonialism and its erasure of native people. To learn more about the Occaneechi people, please visit https://obsn.org. You can learn more about land acknowledgements at https://usdac.us/nativeland.
